Material

Material

Coroplast® (also known as Corrugated Plastic, Corr-X, Flutecorr, Hi-Core, and Fluted Polypropylene) is a lightweight, budget-friendly material commonly used for outdoor signage.

Its fluted structure adds rigidity while keeping the material lightweight, making signs easy to transport and handle.

It is also water-resistant and stain-resistant. So, with proper care and maintenance, they can last a long time.

The material used for these signs has a thickness of 4mm.

Full Colour Printing

Printing Type

Printing Type

Coroplast Signs are printed using full-colour CMYK digital printing with UV ink that bonds directly to the Coroplast surface. Our high-quality printing delivers vibrant colours, clear text, and vivid graphics.

UV inks help improve resistance to fading, scratches, and moisture. The ink instantly cures under UV light and makes signs durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Full Colour Printing

Single and double-sided printing is available. Double-sided signs can have the same design on both sides or different designs on each side.

Coating Options

Coating Options

Choose from our three coating options to match your clients’ needs. When choosing film laminations, leave at least a 1-inch white margin on all sides of your artwork. This way, the laminate sticks better and lasts longer.

Select Gloss Film Lamination to add a 3mil shiny layer that creates a reflective surface. This scratch-resistant coating adds extra durability and protection.

Choose Dry-Erase Film Lamination to add an extra 2mil layer and create a writable surface compatible with whiteboard markers.

Pick UV Liquid Lamination to add a protective layer that shields the sign and creates a writable surface compatible with whiteboard markers.

Choose the Right Size

Choose the Right Size

We offer various sizes for our 4mm Coroplast Signs, from 6" × 24" up to 60" × 120". Custom sizes are also available up to 60” × 120” to match specific client needs.

Larger Coroplast Signs can be made using multiple panels when the required size is bigger than a single sheet (up to 5' × 10'). Your artwork is divided into separate sections and printed individually. You should mount the panels side by side and align them to form one continuous oversized sign. This process is known as tiling.

Cutting

Straight Cut and Contour Cut Options

Coroplast Signs are easy to cut into standard and custom shapes, making them a flexible choice for a wide range of uses.

Straight-cut Coroplast Signs are cut into standard rectangular and square shapes.

Contour-cut Coroplast Signs are custom-cut to follow the shape of your client’s design.

To order contour-cut Coroplast signs, request a custom quote or contact your account manager or our customer service team for assistance with artwork requirements and pricing.

Flute Direction and H-Stand Options

Flute Direction and H-Stand Options

Coroplast Signs are made from corrugated plastic sheets that contain hollow channels called flutes. These flutes run in a single direction across the sheet, parallel to the longest side. Choosing the correct flute direction ensures the sign fits your clients’ preferred application.

Vertical flutes run from the top to the bottom of the sign. This flute direction is required when using H-stands. This orientation is also preferred when the sign will be mounted without full horizontal rear support, as it helps reduce bending or folding.

Horizontal flutes run from side to side across the sign. This flute direction provides additional stability across the sign's width. This orientation is often preferred when the sign will be mounted without full vertical support, as it helps reduce bending or folding.

No preference means the flute direction will be determined during production based on the most efficient sheet layout. In this case, signs may be produced with either vertical or horizontal flutes, and a consistent direction across all signs cannot be guaranteed.

We offer two H-stand options for our 4mm Coroplast Signs. Both H-stands provide easy ground installation, while the heavy-duty option offers increased durability and slightly more stability in windy conditions.

Regular H-Stand

Regular H-Stand (H-Stake) 10” × 24” 9-Gauge

Heavy Duty H-Stand

Heavy-Duty H-Stand (H-Stake) 10” × 30” 1/4” Metal Base and 9-Gauge Upper Posts

A-Frames

Complete Your Clients’ Setup with an A-Frame

We also offer A-Frames to make signs portable and easy to carry. They are compatible with Coroplast inserts, and graphics can be changed quickly. This allows your clients to update their promotion without replacing the full setup. Their foldable design makes them easy to transport and store.

FAQ - 4mm Coroplast

4mm Coroplast Signs are both rigid and lightweight, which makes them easy to carry and store.

Yes, in addition to popular sizes ranging from 6” × 24” to 60” × 120”, these signs are also available for order in custom sizing up to 60” × 120”.

Some large sizes may exceed shipping size limits and are more difficult to transport without damage. Pickup ensures you receive the sign in the best possible condition.

Yes. Our 4mm Coroplast Signs can be printed single-sided or double-sided. Double-sided printing can have the same design on both sides or different designs on each side.

For a rewritable surface, add optional Dry-Erase Film Lamination or UV Liquid Lamination, which creates a surface your clients can write on using whiteboard markers. Both coating options also provide a protective layer that enhances durability.

Yes. Various grommet placement options are available to help your clients hang their signs. We use number 2 bronze grommets that are 0.75” in diameter.

Ground staking requires an H-stand. Be sure to select the H-stand compatible option during ordering so the sign is produced with the correct flute direction.

Yes. 4mm Coroplast Signs are offered at wholesale pricing. Log in to view our reseller-only prices and place your order.

With proper care and handling, these signs can last 5-7 years indoors and 3-5 years outdoors. Please note that local weather conditions may affect lifespan.

Yes. Contour cutting is available to create custom-shaped signs that match your clients’ specific designs. Request a custom quote or call your account manager or customer service for contour-cut signs.

For oversized Coroplast Signs that exceed standard shipping dimensions, we can score and fold the sign. The sign can be unfolded upon arrival. Please note that this option is not recommended for signs with Dry-Erase Film Lamination.

Coroplast Signs are made from corrugated plastic sheets that contain internal channels called flutes. These flutes run in a single direction across the sheet and are either vertical or horizontal, depending on how the sheet is produced. Flute direction is important because it determines how the sign can be installed and supported, especially when using H-stands.

Flute direction affects how the sign is installed. Vertical flutes are required for H-stands because they allow the stake to slide into the channels for ground installation. Horizontal flutes are typically used for mounted, hung, or fence-mounted signs where ground stakes are not needed.

If no preference is selected, flute direction will be determined during production based on scheduling and material availability. In this case, we cannot guarantee a specific orientation.

We use two different materials for our Easel Backs. Sizes from 3” to 36” are made from sturdy 40pt Chipboard, which offers a reliable support for smaller signs. Sizes from 48” to 72” are made from durable Corrugated Construction to provide extra support for larger sizes.

Single-wing Easel Backs are suitable for standard support, while double-wing ones offer extra support for larger signs.

Please note that the availability of single and double wings depends on the size of the Easel Backs.

Yes. For sizes larger than a single Coroplast sheet (up to 5' × 10'), we use a process called tiling. Your design is divided into multiple panels, which are printed separately. You should mount the panels side by side and align them to form one continuous oversized sign.
